Welcome to Kids Communicating
Communication is in everything that we do. It allows us to create relationships and share ourselves with others. Studies have shown that communication skills are the most important qualifications employers look for when hiring, yet, communication is most often overlooked in elementary education.
Mission and Goals
Our goal is to create a resource that educators can utilize to help children learn about vital communication skills. Kids Communicating is an educational supplement designed to help teachers find resources for the basic elements of communication and to help students acquire early communication skills.
The Kids Communicating Curriculum is based on K-3 learning concepts and benchmarks set forth in the National Communication Association Curriculum guidelines. The Kids Communicating program was developed by Chad Edwards, Ph.D. and Autumn Edwards, Ph.D.
